國際職業教育認證委員會(VETC)翻譯與口譯認證
劍橋翻譯學會是國際職業教育認證委員會會員機構，獲得劍橋翻譯學會Diploma in Translation & Interpretation的學員，可以直接申請國際職業教育認證委員會（VETC）筆譯和口譯資格證書。
該認證為國際職業資格系統（IVQ, International Vovational Qualifications）5級證書，代表持證者的專業技能和學術能力，是認定專業人士職業能力的國際權威標準。

Cambridge Academy of Translators UK is an academy for translators chartered under the laws of the United Kingdoms. CAT aims at unifying international translators and interpreters of all languages and providing a platform for certifying, training, research and job placement. CAT is open for international partnership with translation and interpretation institutes in different countries and regions to meet the needs of both the translators and the market.
CAT history dates back to 1960s, when a group of translation professionals met for regular seminars and forums and eventually formed a society. CAT was called CATI back then, Cambridge Association of Translators and Interpreters, which was once one of the few known societies for translators in London, attractive to translators and interpreters in the region. CAT got its new name, Cambridge Academy of Translators, in 2007, when it was officially incorporated as a professional body in UK.
Incorporated as a professional organisation with a global vision, CAT now conducts research and studies on translation and interpretation, issues diploma and certificates on translation and interpretation through trainings and exams, provides job placement service and helps employers find translators, holds CAT tests and assessments, authorises translator training in different languages and locations, explores international cooperation and sets up CAT chapters worldwide to meet local needs.
Cambridge Committee of Translation (CCT) is the department duly for awards and certification affairs. CCT is responsible for exams, certifications, applications, memberships, connections to EDI and VETC, management over authorised centers in different locations. The committee receives applications of any kind, processes the applications with assessments and responds to individual, group or institutional contacts.
Members can seek for training and certification to be a qualified translator; A confident translator can apply for CAT diploma and certification (through tests) and meet an employer via CAT; Employers can search CAT database for a translator; Professionals and institutes can work with CAT under a partnership to meet needs in due region and language .
